Robby is one of the best communicators in the business and has built strong relationships with our clients via his Service Desk role. Robby grew up near Rotterdam in the Netherlands and is also our in-house Mental Health support member, focusing on building a happy and healthy team!
What is your favourite aspect of working at bzb IT?
No two days are the same. From working on the Service Desk, I get a variation of tickets coming my way! Whether it be printer issues or network – I’m always happy to help! I also enjoy going to client sites and completing projects that I am given. Everyone’s voice is heard day-to-day, which is super important, and it makes you feel more involved.
Why should clients choose to work with bzb IT?
As a company, every team member is professional, fast and friendly. As a first liner, we take customer service to a new high! With very prompt responses and resolutions!
What does a good outcome look like for you on a project?
A good outcome for me is a project that delivers the agreed scope on time (or with clearly managed changes), works reliably in the real world, and is easy for the customer to use and support. In reality as long as the solution is secure and the customer is happy, I’m happy.
If you could only keep one hobby, which would it be and why?
If I could only keep one, it’d be cycling, it clears my head, I can do it socially or solo, and I can scale it from a quick spin to a big challenge.
Life beyond the office
During my free time I thoroughly enjoy being outside, you will usually find me running! I am trying to qualify myself for a major marathon too! When I’m not running, I’m still running around after my little one who is keeping me on my toes! Another past time I have is taking my Kawasaki Z1000 for a spin!
