Hello! I'm Danika, office administrator at bzb IT
I lead our in-office administration and aid in building out events, socials and much more, keeping everything running smoothly and balancing multiple tasks. Since joining the team at the start of 2025, I’ve tried to bring a fresh energy to the office and aim to keep us all on track.
What is your favourite aspect of working at bzb IT?
My job role within bzb is varied. I enjoy all the different tasks I am set, and I really enjoy being able to improve my skills and learn new things! During some of my tasks I even get to use my creative side. Since being at bzb I have felt welcomed by all, everyone always checks in with one another and is always on hand to support you whenever needed (whether work related or not). One of the best things I find at bzb is there is always laughter within the office, even on busy days people are always still smiling and laughing!
Why should clients choose to work with bzb IT?
As a team member who doesn’t necessarily have contact with clients, I have seen how the rest of the guys are with them. Whether it be via email, phone calls, meetings etc. They always put the clients first. bzb take pride in the work and support that we provide to our clients. What part of your role do you find the most rewarding and why?
I love being able to organise surprises for the team. For example, in May 2025 we acknowledged World Mental health week. I had organised for not only our team but also our neighbouring offices to join us with an Ice Cream van. Thankfully the weather was great and we had the opportunity to meet our neighbours over a shared love of ice cream.
If you could describe your perfect Sunday, what would it look like?
The perfect cosy day at home would be PJs with an oodie on. Pillows and duvets down on the sofa, binge watching films (Again probably Disney or Harry Potter) with an endless supply of snacks! Snacks should definitely include Popcorn, White chocolate buttons for the kids and Creme eggs or peanut M&Ms for myself. Not to forget some chicken nuggets and mini sausage rolls. YUM!
Life beyond the office
Outside of work, I spend my time with my two children, partner and dog. We often go for walks around various National Trust sites. As a family we enjoy being outdoors and we have even started growing our own produce at our Allotment! Our first year was better than expected! During the Summer I enjoy spending time playing cricket and being with my friends. I enjoy a good film, usually snuggled up on the sofa with my family. Most of the time it being a Disney film or Harry Potter! During my down time you will mostly find me crafting, more than likely something for the kids!
