I connect with prospective clients to introduce our services and start meaningful conversations about their business objectives. I take the time to understand their ambitions, challenges, and requirements, asking the right questions to uncover where we can add value. By building rapport and identifying opportunities early, I help lay the groundwork for how we can support and drive future collaboration.

What is your favourite aspect of working at bzb IT?

I like working at bzb because it feels like a genuinely respectful team environment, where people support each other and are always willing to help when they can. There’s a good balance between everyone taking their work seriously whilst still being approachable and easy to speak to when you need support. Small things like having a pool table also add to that atmosphere, giving everyone a chance to switch off for a moment and have a laugh together.

Why sales in the tech industry?

I like sales because it’s centered around people, problem-solving, and building strong relationships. It’s a very valuable skill for me to build. Sales isn’t just about selling a product or service; it’s about understanding the challenges a business is facing and helping them find the right solution. I want to be better at building trust, creating opportunities and value, whilst learning from the setbacks that all this brings along the way, as someone who has just started out in this role.
The tech industry particularly appeals to me because it is constantly evolving. In IT, there are so many challenges that directly affect how a business operates day to day, I like the variety that comes with that, as well as the fact that what we offer at bzb IT feels modern, practical, and genuinely valuable to the businesses we speak with.

Life beyond the office

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, seeing live music, and occasionally training Muay Thai, which is something I’ve really enjoyed, after travelling to Thailand twice to train. I also like going out for the occasional run or walk in nature, I plan to go to Morrocco soon to climb Mount Toubkal. I’m a big foodie too, so I enjoy cooking new recipes and I’m always keen to discover new places to eat. Sales can be a fast-paced environment, so I think it’s important to have hobbies that help you reflect and recharge.
