Hello! I'm Jack, managing director at bzb IT
I look after the day-to-day running of the business and help shape where we’re heading next. From operations and commercial direction to making sure our customers have a great experience, my focus is on helping bzb IT grow while delivering consistently high standards.
After stepping away from corporate life to follow my passion for business (and put my degree to good use), I haven’t looked back. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me keeping active, watching or playing sport, or getting outdoors and enjoying some fresh air.
What do you value most about leading bzb IT?
For me, it’s the culture we’ve built.
Leading bzb IT means shaping an environment where people feel connected, supported, and able to do their best work. I’m proud of how intentional we’ve been about staying collaborative and close-knit, especially by maintaining a strong in-person presence across our Bath and Bristol offices.
Seeing ideas come to life through open conversations, and watching the team support each other through challenges, is incredibly rewarding. It’s that shared sense of purpose and the way people show up for one another that makes leading bzb IT so meaningful.
What is your favourite aspect of working at bzb IT?
I really enjoy the breadth that comes with being MD.
It gives me the opportunity to be involved across a wide range of areas, from strategy and growth to the day-to-day challenges that come with running a business. That variety keeps things interesting, and while it can be demanding, it’s ultimately what makes the role so rewarding.
I also take a quiet satisfaction in being the number 1 seed at pool. Not that I mention it often.

Life beyond the office
Outside of work, I enjoy getting outdoors, travelling, and spending time with the people closest to me. Some of my favourite moments include getting married in Bath, my hometown, exploring the landscapes of Utah, and playing golf along the coast of Spain, a favourite holiday spot for my family.
